AXIS GALLERY - THE LOWDOWN

The nucleus of Axisgallery are Brit Nick C and Italian Paolo Baldini who met in Florence in 2004 while DJing the local nightclubs on a European Tour . Both have a leftfield approach to music and soon started working together on remixes of old rock songs such as Billy Squiers 'Stroke' and Black Sabbath's 'Neon Knights' which rocked the local dancefloors . Drafting in old friend and socialite Princess Anya LeGalle on vocals and a boozed out Scottish guitarist Pip 'maddog' Kiernan - they set out to create their first album 'Dynamics Of Synergy' which stylistically had no ground rules and mix of styles which reflected the bands exotic background . A succesful European and South African tour followed before they returned to Switzerland to record their follow up 'Digital Orgasm' 2006 . A more focused but still diverse record which was either loved or loathed - Axisgallery tend to polarise opinion - the band again went on a UK , Australian and South American tour with a troupe of pole dancers and an enourmous pair of purple lips to enhance their stage show .

Axisgallery have just released their third album "Disturbing Behavior" which references their experience of 'Haut de la Garenne' and refines their sound to a more mainstream Rock/Dance crossover and are compared to Autechre for their bold musical vision. They are currently receiving widespread airplay in Europe and the US
